    The Légumerie celebrates vegetables, grains, pulses and legumes, and champions ethical and sustainable food production. Our passion for plant-based deliciousness is born of a love for people, animals and the planet, and a conviction that by changing our approach to food we not only reduce our destructive impact on the environment, we open ourselves up to a whole new world of culinary possibilities.

    The business is run by brother and sister team, John and Claire Duffy. Claire holds a master’s degree in global food security and has a keen interest in sustainable agriculture, food waste prevention, environmental protection, and trade and climate justice. John has a master’s degree in international business but is yet to be convinced of its usefulness.

     

    John is an artificial intelligence nerd, Tesla enthusiast and self-professed futurist. When not reading, writing or experimenting in the kitchen, Claire enjoys sound design, whiskey and all things triathlon.
